Virginia’s Community Colleges are proud of our long and successful history of working with every branch of the military to offer veterans, retirees, active duty personnel and their families a strong, career- focused education.

Our mission is to establish nationally recognized comprehensive “military-friendly” education programs that help ALL military-related students pursue their academic and professional interests. We understand your unique experiences and have dedicated staff to support you.

MyCAA (military spouse career advancement account)
Assists eligible military spouses to receive financial assistance to help pay for licenses, certifications, and higher education in high demand career fields.

Virginia’s Community Colleges are proud to offer military students and veterans the Credit2Careers (C2C) portal. The tool allows students to upload their Joint Services Transcript to see instantly how many academic credits their work experience could translate into more than 1,700 community college programs.
