Student, J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College
Currently a student at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College (JSRCC), Sharon Radiou is working toward her certification for the pastry arts in the School of Culinary Arts, Tourism and Hospitality.
A full-time mom of three for the past 18 years, Sharon is active with school volunteering and part-time catering. Her longtime interest in the food industry and the creation of the new program at JSRCC, sparked Sharon’s enthusiasm and willingness to commute from her home in Staunton to attend classes on the downtown campus.
Her future plans include opening a cottage-style tea cafe in the Staunton area with a variety of pastry selections.
